Burner Stands

What to Expect From the First Burn with Your New Burner Stand

The burner stands we build at Bubba’s Barrels are powder-coated before being shipped to the customer. We find this method makes for a good-looking piece that keeps its appearance better than painted stands.

The first time you fire up the burner, you should expect some of that coating to burn away from the areas directly exposed to flame, as well as other areas located underneath the barrel exposed to high levels of heat. You initial burn is likely to produce some smoke in the same way the first fire in a new charcoal grill will.

That said, the legs and frame pieces that do not come in direct contact with flame should keep their original powder-coated appearance.

Good luck with your new burner!
